Intensive Therapeutic Care Support Worker
Our ITC team support young people to develop their personal, social and living skills through positive mentoring, educational assistance, behavioural support, implementation of case plans, and collaborative community engagement.
With the roll-out of the Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) service model across Newcastle, we are seeking passionate, experienced and trauma informed support workers to join our team.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for team members who are dedicated, resilient, positive role models to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and who have experience supporting young people with complex trauma backgrounds.
Ideally you will have:
- Completed or working towards a Diploma in Youth Work, Social Work, Community Services or relevant field; or
- Completed or working towards a Bachelor in Social Work, Social Science, Psychology, Nursing or relevant field
- Full unrestricted NSW Driver’s license
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Working with Children Check and National Criminal history check clearance
